Mr. Sumal Perera is the Founder Chairman of Access group of companies which was founded in 1989. He is also the Founder Chairman and a shareholder of AEL. He continues to be the Chairman of all companies coming within the Access group. He was also the the Chairman of Sathosa Motors PLC, a public listed company, since 1998 to 2012. He is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants – UK (FCMA). It is under his vision and leadership that the Access group of companies within a relatively short period of two decades has grown to be a diversified and successful business enterprise.

Mr. Christopher Joshua is one of the founder Directors of Access group of companies. He was instrumental in heading some of the most successful business units within the group. Mr. Joshua is a founder shareholder and was the Joint Managing Director/CEO of the Company for a considerable period of time. It was under his leadership that AEL has achieved its growth over the last decade. He is also the Joint Managing Director of Access group of companies since 1997.

Mr. Dirk Joshua, Executive Director of Sathosa Motors PLC, is an accomplished leader with over 18 years of expertise in management, marketing, strategic planning, and procurement. With a strong professional background in business development, he has played a pivotal role in driving growth and innovation.

Mr. Rohana Fernando joined the Board of Sathosa Motors PLC in September 2012. He is an Engineer by profession and has been attached to the Access Group since 1998. He currently holds the position of Director / COO of Access Engineering PLC and serves as a Director of Access International (Pvt) Ltd and SML Frontier Automotive (Pvt) Limited. He is a Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL) and has a BSc Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Peradeniya.

Mr. Asanka Wimalaratna, Executive Director of Sathosa Motors PLC, is a seasoned business leader with over 19 years of expertise in strategic goal-setting, business model innovation, and team leadership. His distinguished career includes serving as CEO and Executive Board Member at Brandix Apparel, where he demonstrated exceptional networking acumen and a talent for developing unique value propositions.

Renowned for his strategic vision and adaptability, Asanka drives competitive, forward-thinking teams while fostering a culture of innovation and sustainable growth. He holds an APEX Executive MBA from the National University of Singapore, a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and is a Fellow Member of CIMA (UK) as well as an Associate Member of CIM (UK). Mr. Chaminda Kumarasiri is a distinguished Chartered Accountant and strategist with extensive experience in multinational organizations. As a Non-Executive Director of Sathosa Motors PLC, he brings deep expertise in strategic planning, organizational transformation, and SME development. His ability to drive change, optimize performance, and foster sustainable growth has made him a trusted advisor in corporate leadership.

Chaminda holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Colombo and a B.Sc. in Accountancy with First-Class Honours from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, ACCA (UK), the Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka, and CMA Sri Lanka.

A Senior Chartered Accountant, strategist, management consultant, corporate trainer, and speaker, Chaminda has hands-on experience in guiding organizations toward excellence. He currently serves in executive and non-executive roles across several national and multinational companies, contributing his expertise to drive impactful business outcomes.

Mr. Ravilal Alokabandara is a results-driven professional with over 12 years of diverse experience in Sales and Marketing. Prior to his secondment to Sathosa Motors PLC, he was a key member of the management team at Access Engineering PLC for over a decade.

He is a proud member of the University of Colombo’s Faculty of Management and Finance, reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and continuous development.

He holds a postgraduate diploma from the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) and is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) in UK. His extensive expertise and leadership significantly contribute to the success of his team and initiatives.

Mr. Narada Kalugalage is an experienced IT professional and strategic technology leader. He currently serves as the IT Manager at Access Engineering PLC, the parent company of Sathosa Motors PLC. With a strong academic foundation, he holds a Bachelor of Information Technology and a Master’s Degree from the University of Colombo.

His strategic thinking enhances enterprise technology systems, and he plays a key role in managing SAP, SAP Ariba, and IFS systems, ensuring smooth operations and advanced reporting.

As the IT Consultant for Sathosa Motors PLC, Narada provides valuable insights and technical guidance, driving digital transformation and enhancing system efficiencies across the organization. His contributions continue to strengthen the company’s technological infrastructure, enabling streamlined operations and sustainable growth.

Mr. Palliyage Dushantha Udayapriya is an accomplished finance professional with a wealth of experience in financial management, strategic planning, and corporate governance. He currently serves as the General Manager – Finance at Sathosa Motors PLC, bringing nearly two decades of expertise to the role.
He holds a B.Sc. (Accounting) Special Degree from the University of Rajarata, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. Prior to his current position, he played a pivotal role at Richard Peiris Tyre Company from 2005 to 2023, steadily advancing up to Finance Controller. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in shaping financial strategy, optimizing budgeting processes, and enhancing operational efficiency, contributing significantly to organizational growth and stability.
